- INGREDIENTS:
- 8oz sliced FunGuy white button mushrooms
- 1 lb pork, thinly sliced
- ½ cup vegetable stock
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
- 3 tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and minced
- 1 chili pepper, sliced
- 4 spring onions, chopped
- 4 cups cooked white rice
It can be hard to wok away from your go-to weeknight menu, but sometimes you just need to kick things up a notch, the FunGuy way.
This recipe for a spicy pork stir-fry loaded with sliced mushrooms, spring onions and crunchy sesame seeds will have you not only kicking it up a notch but throwing in a few flips too!
DIRECTIONS:
- Pour stock into a bowl and whisk in vinegar, soy sauce, hoisin and corn starch. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok over high heat.
- Add in garlic, ginger and chili pepper and stir fry for 30 seconds.
- Add in pork and cook until no longer pink and cooked through. Remove pork from the wok.
- Add mushrooms to wok and stir fry until cooked.
- Transfer pork back to the wok, add in spring onions, sesame seeds and stir in the vegetable stock mixture; cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
- Serve pork and FunGuy mushroom stir-fry on rice.
