- 1 pound fresh or frozen green beans
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh minced ginger
- 8oz package of sliced FunGuy white button mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon sesame seeds
Sesame is great for so many things like topping buns, your friendly sesame street full of muppets and as the favorite password “Open Sesame!”. They’re also good for adding a great crunch to some healthy green beans and FunGuy mushrooms!
In fact we think that’s one of the best ways to have them, with a whole lot of mushrooms just like this great side dish!
DIRECTIONS:
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until a vibrant green. Transfer green beans to a ice bath to stop them from cooking.
- Heat oil in a a skillet over medium-high. Add in the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute. Add in the FunGuy mushrooms and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add the green beans and soy sauce to the skillet and toss with the mushrooms. Cook another 2-3 minutes or until cooked through.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and toss again just before serving.
Have a Fun meal!
