Everyone loves the weekend. Nobody likes the work week madness, there’s no time for that! What if it could all be changed with a quick home cooked meal that frees up time in front of the stove so fun can be had mid-week too?
This recipe is a quick and easy way to help you achieve that FunGuy potential without depriving anyone of a good, tasty meal in the process!
DIRECTIONS:
- Bring a pot of salted water to boil on the stove and add pasta. Allow to cook 8-9 minutes or until cooked through. Drain of excess water.
- While the spaghetti is cooking prepare the mushrooms. Brush off any debris from the FunGuy mushrooms with a damp cloth. Pop out the stem using your thumb and discard.
- Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat. Add in the mushrooms and sauté 4-5 minutes or until starting to brown. Add in the sausage slices and cook until crisp on the edges. Lastly, add in the banana peppers and toss together until warmed through.
- Transfer the mushrooms, peppers and sausage to a bowl while leaving the left over oil from cooking in the pan. Add the spaghetti to the pan and toss with the oil to coat it with extra flavor.
- Plate the spaghetti and top with the mushroom, chouriço and peppers and serve immediately.
Have a Fun meal!
