- Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- water
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch fresh ginger, minced
- 8oz package of sliced FunGuy white button mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons rice wine
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 20 pot stickers
While potstickers are delicious on their own, there’s not always enough to go around the day after a Chinese food feast! That’s when it’s time to improvise FunGuy style.
All you need is to toss those solitary potstickers into a wok with some sesame oil, some seasoning, sliced mushrooms and broccoli to make a dinner dish that’s enough for the whole family!
DIRECTIONS:
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the broccoli. Let the broccoli cook 3-4 minutes before transferring it to a bowl of ice water to quickly stop it from cooking. Drain the broccoli of excess water and set aside.
- Heat the sesame oil in a large wok and add in the garlic and ginger. Saute them for 2 minutes. Add the FunGuy mushrooms and saute them for 4-5 minutes. Place the potstickers into the pot, bottom side down and allow them to cook 3-4 minutes or until browned on the bottom lightly. Pour in the soy and hoisin sauce and stir well. Add the broccoli to the pan and cook another 3-4 minutes or until the potstickers have cooked through and the broccoli is tender. Turn off the heat
- Serve immediately.
Have a Fun meal!
