• Ingredients:
  • 8oz package of sliced FunGuy white button mushrooms
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • ½ tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Fresh cilantro

Have all the kitchen staples like rice and pasta, but no idea what to add to make it a complete meal? Try these honey garlic shrimp and FunGuy mushrooms!

Don’t feel like having a bowl of carbs? Don’t fret! This is just as good with a bowl of steamed broccoli or over a garden fresh salad.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place the FunGuy mushrooms and shrimp into a large bowl. Add in the honey, and soy sauce and toss to coat the mushrooms and shrimp.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat. Add in the garlic and ginger and cook 1 minute. Add in the mushrooms and shrimp and sauté for 3 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the shrimp has started to turn pink and curl into a “C” shape.
  3. Mix the cornstarch and water in a small bowl until smooth. Pour it over the mushrooms and shrimp, stirring well. Allow them to cook 2 more minutes or until the liquid in the pan has thickened. Pour lime juice on top and toss to combine.
  4. Serve with fresh cilantro over a bowl of rice, pasta or your favorite vegetable!
