- Ingredients:
- 1 pound dry spaghetti
- Water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8oz package of sliced FunGuy white button mushrooms
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 leaves fresh basil
- Dried oregano flowers (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Who says you can’t have dinner on the table within 20 minutes? Sure you can just make a pile of sandwiches and let the family fend for themselves, but why not go the extra mile and put together a real meal.
Like this spaghetti dish that’s done in 15 minutes with 5 minutes to spare!
DIRECTIONS:
- Bring a pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add in the dry spaghetti and allow to boil for about 8 minutes or until the pasta is cooked through.
- While the spaghetti cooks, prepare the FunGuy mushrooms and garlic.
- Heat the olive oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat. Add in the garlic and allow to cook 2 minutes or until lightly browned. Add in the mushrooms and cook 5-6 minutes or until browned.
- Once the spaghetti has cooked through, drain it of excess water. Immediately add the pasta to the mushrooms and garlic while still wet.
- Stir the spaghetti in with the mushrooms and garlic until well combined and the liquid in the pan coats the pasta. Season the pasta with basil, salt and black pepper.
- Break up the oregano flowers over the spaghetti and serve immediately.
