- Ingredients:

- 1 clove garlic, minced
- pinch of salt
- black pepper
- 2 thin slices of ham, diced
- 3 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 sprigs thyme, stems removed
Pop, pop, pop!
That’s the sound a FunGuy makes while getting ready for a quick meal that will fill him right up. So full that one might say he’s been stuffed!
Stuff your FunGuy mushrooms with something tasty like ham and Parmesan cheese, and while you’re at it, make it snappy by doing it all in the microwave instead of the oven!
So good, we dare you to try just one!
DIRECTIONS:
- With a damp paper towel, gently clean each mushroom of any debris. Pop out each stem and finely mince them on a cutting board. Transfer to a microwave safe bowl.
- Add garlic and 1/3 of the butter to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper and stir.
- Microwave garlic and mushrooms stems on high for one minute. Remove from microwave and add in the ham, stir and return to the microwave for another minute.
- While the filling cooks, butter a microwavable serving dish and place the mushroom caps inside, hole side up. Brush the edges of the mushrooms with any left over butter.
- Once mushroom stems and ham are cooked, stir in the Parmesan cheese and thyme. Fill each mushroom cap with the ham and cheese mixture and place them in the microwave on high for 3-5 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and cheese has melted.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
