- Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons light sesame oil
- 8oz package of sliced FunGuy white button mushrooms
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- Green onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
It’s one of those week nights where everything is being rushed around and there’s barely time to eat, let alone cook. If only there was a quick dish that could be made and added to that left over rice, noodles or vegetables from a previous meal.
Whip up this super quick teriyaki mushroom dish, seasoned liberally with ginger and garlic, and you’re good to go!
No take out or unhealthy fast food required.
DIRECTIONS:
- Heat the sesame oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add in the garlic and ginger and sauté for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned. Toss in the mushrooms and sauté for another 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce and teriyaki sauce and reduce the heat to medium low. Cook for another 4-5 minutes or until the sauce has slightly thickened.
- Serve hot as a side with green onions and sesame seeds on top, with sticky rice, or grilled vegetables!
Have a Fun meal!
