- Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, peeled and grated
- 8oz package of sliced FunGuy white button mushrooms
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and cleaned
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- ½ tablespoon sesame oil
Some flavors go together like fun and mushrooms. Others you might have to get a little creative with to make them work.
This FunGuy garlic ginger broccoli and shrimp dish on the other hand, comes together easier than a mishmash of mushroom inspired idiom.
No creative word play needed!
DIRECTIONS:
- Heat the peanut oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add in the garlic and ginger sautéing until lightly browned and fragrant. Add in the FunGuy mushrooms and sauté another 2-5 minutes. Next, add in the broccoli florets and continue to cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the shrimp to the pan and sauté for 3 minutes or until the shrimp have started to turn pink and curl into a “C” shape.
- While the shrimp cook whisk together the cornstarch, sweet chili sauce, soy, rice wine vinegar and sesame oil. Pour it over the mushroom mixture and stir well to combine. Cover and cook 2 more minutes. The sauce should have thickened and the broccoli should be vibrant green.
- Serve immediately.
