- INGREDIENTS
- 3 olive oil
- 2 cups FunGuy Fresh White Button mushrooms, sliced
- 9 ounce bag baby spinach
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 6 hamburger rolls
Oh yeah, it’s definitely grillin’ season now! Bring FunGuy Mushrooms to your next backyard bonanza with this yummy burger recipe.
DIRECTIONS:
- In a medium skillet heat oil on medium high; saute mushrooms 4 minutes, or until tender.
- Add spinach and stir until all the leaves are wilted.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion powder, salt, and pepper; mix well. Form into 6 equal patties.
- Grill burgers 8 to 12 minutes on medium high (400 degrees), or until no longer pink in center, turning halfway through grilling.
- Place a slice of Swiss cheese on each burger and cook 1 to 2 minutes, or until melted.
- Place burger on roll, top with sauteed mushroom and spinach.
