• Ingredients:
  • 4-6 oz dried black linguine pasta
  • Water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8oz package of sliced FunGuy white button mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, rinsed well
  • Salt

Looking for something a little different than your average pasta dinner? Then try something a little noir with this black linguine, FunGuy mushrooms, and dark green spinach!

This pasta will fulfill all those light, yet flavorful pasta cravings that are manifesting in those hungry summer food thoughts. Not to mention it’ll wow any dinner companions that may be also looking for a delicious bite!

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add in the dry spaghetti and allow to boil for about 8 minutes or until the pasta is cooked through. Once cooked, drain the pasta of excess water.
  2. While the linguine cooks, prepare the FunGuy mushrooms and spinach. 
  3. Heat the olive oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat. Add in the garlic and allow to cook 2 minutes or until lightly browned. Add in the mushrooms and cook 5-6 minutes or until browned. Add the spinach to the pan and stir to combine. Cook 2-3 minutes longer or until the spinach has wilted down. 
  4. Add the linguine pasta to the pan and toss with the mushrooms and spinach, making sure the pasta has been coated in the olive oil that is still in the pan. Season the pasta with salt as necessary.
  5. Serve immediately.
